Leveraging Hybrid AI/Live Proctoring for Practical and Cost Effective Solutions

This presentation introduces a hybrid proctoring solution that combines the power of artificial intelligence (AI) to flag suspicious behavior with live proctoring, offering a practical and cost-effective solution.

All high-risk flags are promptly investigated in real time, with live proctors assessing the potential risk by examining enlarged views of the candidate and the candidate's screen. The threshold for proctor intervention to mild and medium flags is configurable, based upon a program's experience, to significantly reduce the number of false-positive security-risk flags.

Communication between proctors and candidates is facilitated through chat text or voice, granting proctors the ability to pause or terminate the examination. Test sponsors are promptly notified of potentially serious security breaches, allowing them to determine the final disposition of candidate testing sessions. Sessions can be video recorded for real-time or post-exam review by the test sponsor. Video documentation of the AI flagging is extracted to facilitate efficient review and archived for follow-up investigations and enforcement purposes.

During the presentation, a comparison of the relative costs between the hybrid AI/live remote proctoring model and other proctoring solutions will be shared, providing valuable insights into the economic advantages of this approach.
